Substitute Teachers

We are seeking Substitute Teachers to join our team in St. Louis, MO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instruct and motivate students across various subjects and grade levels.
  • Assign lessons and correct homework in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain discipline in the classroom, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Inspire students with consistency, care, and interest to build their self-esteem and promote continued academic success.
  • Praise and encourage students to build character and foster a positive classroom atmosphere.
  • Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the educational experience.
  • Adapt to changes and transitions effectively to meet the needs of students and the school.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum of 36 college hours OR completion of a 20-hour online training program.
  • Certification: Teacher’s Certification is preferred. (Contact our office if you need information on how to become certified).
  • Experience: Previous teaching experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Requirements:

  • A passion for working with children and a dedication to their educational success.
  • Patience and the ability to work interactively with children of various ages.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in basic software applications.
  • Strong organizational, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to transition with changes and handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
